eCornell? As in Cornell University?
Yep! At eCornell (Cornell University's professional education unit), my role is to ensure that "robust learning experience" is more than a tagline. As Graphic Design Coordinator, I design academic documents, interactive graphics, facilitator presentations, and course materials that turn self-paced content into something genuinely engaging. Producing content across dozens of subject areas and file types, accessibility is a large part of my work. I collaborate with instructional designers and Cornell faculty members to guarantee creative elements meet WCAG (AA+) and PDF/UA compliance, because a program can't deliver real impact if learners can't access it. This involves managing technical teams focused on STEM accessibility utilizing Universal Learning Design (UDL) and user experience strategy, so the structure and support eCornell imparts shows up in the details, not just big-picture items.
Beyond my own design work, I oversee a team of designers and illustrators responsible for the full range of the department's creative output - from internal course materials to external marketing campaigns. The outreach design work includes a complete rebrand of the company's image, building out a new brand guide developed with my team from the ground up. Through these different experiences, I've learned what it takes to keep a creative team aligned, meet every deadline, and deliver work that satisfies both stakeholders and students.
